Join us on Saturday, August 26 at 6:00pm along the boardwalk in Ventnor City, New Jersey for Holton's Heroes 2nd annual walk for pediatric brain injuries. This year's program theme — "Light Up the Night" — hopes to inspire awareness and acceptance for children recovering from brain injuries as we walk the picturesque coast of the Jersey shore during magic hour.
All donated money raised at this program supports Holton's Heroes' mission to serve the community by connecting children who have suffered a life-threatening, post-birth brain injury with therapeutic tools and devices, enriching activities, educational information and resources for them and their loved ones.
Last year, the first annual Holton's Heroes walk attracted over 200 participants and raised more than $10,000 that went directly toward helping child brain injury survivors like Tessa, Owen, Aleena, and more! The bar was set high in 2016, but we hope to beat those marks this summer with your help.
This is a family friendly event and we hope you'll consider bringing out your whole clan, as well as helping us spread the word by sharing this page with everyone you know. Additionally, we invite you all - especially the kids - to bring glow-in-the-dark items so we can figuratively shine a bright light on pediatric brain injuries this evening!
We politely ask all attending walk participants to make a donation in honor of the Holton's Heroes "Light Up the Night for Pediatric Brain Injuries" Walk to help us further our foundation's mission of helping children and their loved ones dealing with a pediatric brain injury. Suggested donations are $8 for kids, $12 for adults, and $30 for "Super Hero" donors who wish to receive an extremely cozy, shore-themed commemorative walk tee.
Don't forget! We offer Holton's Heroes kid tees here for families looking to get everyone involved in the fun. These shirts will ship out ahead of the walk if ordered by August 19, 2017.
All walk donors will receive a Holton's Heroes-inspired grab bag while supplies last (first come, first serve) and "Super Hero" walk participants will receive their reserved shirts at event check-in. Additionally, we will offer free refreshments and tasty snacks for everyone attending.
