A VIRTUAL PAINTING Experience Benefiting pediatric brain injury survivors

You and your family are invited to join us for a special virtual painting experience led by Kari & Bryan Lloyd of Paint the Town Napa! All proceeds benefit Holton’s Heroes to help pediatric brain injury survivors around the country.

Unleash the artist within and as we recreate this beautiful fall painting of a classic truck carrying a load of perfect pumpkins through a vineyard!

We are so grateful that technology allows us to connect as a community and paint together from the comfort of our own homes during these uncertain times. This relaxing and personally rewarding class will last 2 to 2 1/2 hours, so have somewhere comfy to sit and your favorite libation nearby. ;)

As a bonus, every registered painter will have their name submitted into our general raffle. If you want to help us raise more funds and win some truly incredible prizes, purchase $3 raffle tickets here.

To register for the event, simply visit here.

We kindly suggest a $30 donation for each painter that participates or $65 for the family. All registered painters will receive a zoom access code and password 24-48 hours before the event.

This painting class is beginner to intermediate but geared towards adults and kids 10 and up. However, kids of all ages will have fun painting with us!

YOU WILL NEED ART SUPPLIES

Here is detailed list of recommended art supplies for the class. Simply tap/click on orange title to go to Amazon and purchase:

  • Canvas: A 16x20 canvas is the ideal size recommended, but feel free to use any size that works in your space/budget.

  • Acrylic Paint: The colors we will use for this painting are yellow, orange, red, cerulean blue (or any blue), brown, white and black. However, feel free to use any colors you wish, as this is your work of art!

HERO TIPS FOR PAINTING

Here are a few tips to painting cheaper and easier.

  • Plan your shot! Make sure you have a convenient place for your smart device or computer so you can follow along.

  • Use a plastic or disposable cup for water

  • Have paper towels on standby to clean up any surprise spills

  • If you don’t own a painters smock, simply wear an old shirt (or a Holton’s Heroes shirt) to protect your clothes

  • If you child paints, be sure to hang it up somewhere special for the fall season.

  • Most importantly, don’t forget to pour yourself a tall glass over your favorite beverage and prepare some easy-to-eat snacks for the kids before the class begins.
